1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or participating in this course, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with enrolment or participation.


2. Nature of the Course
This course is provided for general educational and self-development purposes only. It does not constitute a psychological, therapeutic, or clinical service, and does not create a professional therapeutic relationship. Participation does not confer any professional qualification or clinical credential.


3. Eligibility
This course is intended for adults aged 18 years and over. It is not designed for individuals who are currently:

experiencing a mental health crisis or acute psychological distress;
under the care of a mental health professional for a severe or complex condition, unless their treating clinician has approved participation; or
seeking a substitute for professional psychological assessment, diagnosis, or treatment.

 

4. No Clinical Advice
Nothing in this course constitutes medical, psychological, or clinical advice tailored to any individual's circumstances. Participants should not disregard or delay seeking professional advice on the basis of any content encountered in this course.


5. Individual Responsibility
Participants are responsible for their own wellbeing throughout the course. If at any point participation causes distress or discomfort, you are encouraged to pause and seek appropriate support. Crisis resources are provided within the course materials.


6. Intellectual Property
All course content — including written materials, audio, video, worksheets, and related resources — remains the intellectual property of the course creator(s). Participants are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the materials for their own private, non-commercial purposes. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use without express written permission is prohibited.


7. Confidentiality and Privacy
Personal information collected during enrolment and participation is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. The course privacy policy, sets out how data is collected, stored, and used. Course content shared in any community or group forum should be treated with discretion, and participants are asked to respect the privacy of others.


8. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Australian law, the course creator(s) accept no liability for any loss, harm, or adverse outcome arising from participation in or reliance upon this course. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.


9. Amendments
These Terms of Use may be updated from time to time. Continued participation following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Participants will be notified of material changes where reasonably practicable.


10. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
